Even on transition we look scared with no idea. Baffled as to how we plan on scoring goals. Noticed today that players aren’t even doing their trademark moves, like Udogie’s big inverting runs or Johnson running into the 6yd box. Like they’re playing with so much confusion.

I dunno, I think he’d be bullied a bit against this Newcastle midfield!

Just noticing some little details… Kudus does brilliantly to get the ball down, gives to Sarr to start a nice attack down the left and Sarr gives such a weak pass behind Udogie and it stops all momentum. If we can only attack in transition then that intensity and going forward just isn’t there.

It’s clear their manager criteria list isn’t actually based on the club’s footballing principles (gathering dust in a cupboard somewhere). Ange’s John the pragmatist” quote is becoming more accurate with every passing game.

Yes that’s the issue we have. Frank was a safe bet but the hierarchy couldn’t see his football isn’t actually right for our club. Now if we find a manager that truly plays the football we want it will be a risk.

Great show chaps. Similar feelings towards Frank but don’t trust our hiring process if they pull the plug. Hiring Frank showed that we have no high level football vision or strategy to speak of for the ‘Tottenham way’. We just go with the next trendy manager.

100%. We look all at sea.

Now for a second imagine our forward line without him and put Johnson there.

The football vision at the board / SLT level just seems extremely poor to me. They talk to fans about ‘more wins and trophies’ like we’re idiots. We need an actual football strategy, DNA that runs through the managers, the recruitment, the style of football. I don’t see any coherent plan.

Agree we have no identity from the very top of the club. No football vision that is tricking down to management and recruitment decisions. Buy players for Ange that are useless for Frank and so on, because we don’t have a proper vision.

Very predictable. Ultimately the game plan and attitude behind the plan, plus tiring legs, means we’ll drop deeper and deeper. I wish we’d trust each other more with the ball.

We’re not that bad though. Our midfielders all have the ability to turn, play 2 touch etc. We string two passes together and hoof it long these days.
