Those of us who are also not U.S. born and who know from our own family histories what happens when anyone can be deemed not merely "other" but an enemy based purely on identity must oppose this.

They're starting with a Muslims green card holder to test what they will be allowed to do. They assume - & observing the so-called "opposition" party, media, elite law firms, corporations, celebrities, they're right - they can get away with this. If this goes unimpeded, they will widen their net.
