In late December, @josephmtimmerman.bsky.social rode a sold-out Hiawatha train from Milwaukee to Chicago. The route is Amtrak’s busiest in the Midwest and the nation’s seventh-busiest. He documented his journey in photos and conversations with fellow passengers.
