Watching bad movies always ends up with me appreciating another one more. read someone comparing the new Ramsey to Ari Aster and y'know what? Eddington deserves more love. Not to the point of calling it good, but enough to appreciate material concerns regarding its protagonist's satirical surgery

Can’t believe that was a new Lynne Ramsay. This material has the same juvenile and redundant form that would be easily mistaken with any mediocre horror filmmaker that came out this and last decade. Lawrence is breaking her back in something this simpleminded

GDT’s Frankenstein is made by someone who sees sex more as a device than a form of expression. There’s no sensuality in the picture and all implication of its text is reduced to such literal extremes it leaves no room to think. It doesn’t help the design barely directs us toward its subjects.
