Who is REALLY against audits? DOGE is following the same old tradition: Protecting contactors and personal profit. Target social programs, oversight, and people investigating them.
🚨 FACT CHECK: Are Dems Really Against Audits? Who is REALLY against them? Democrats have pushed for oversight on: ✅ Healthcare & Medicare Audits - For example, in 2023, Republicans voted against clamping down on Medicare Advantage overpayments, even as fraud was exposed. ✅ Pentagon Waste – The military has failed multiple audits, and Dems have demanded accountability. Republicans blocked efforts to rein in spending waste, protecting military CONTRACTORS instead. (Military contractors include Musk, Bezos, Theil, Gates, etc) ✅ COVID-19 Relief Fraud – Democrats fought to track down pandemic fraud. Republicans voted to defund investigations into stolen relief funds—even after complaining about fraud. ✅ Tax Audits for Billionaires & Big Corporations – Democrats expanded IRS audits on the ultra-wealthy to close tax loopholes. Republicans voted to repeal it, protecting tax cheats while crying about the deficit. ✅ Election Security Audits – Democrats backed real election security audits to stop cyber threats and foreign interference. Republicans voted against securing voting machines, while pushing fake election fraud claims. 🚨 The Pattern Is Clear. Republicans aren’t against waste—they’re against auditing the parts of government that benefit them and their donors. Republicans fight oversight of billionaires, defense contractors, and corporate fraud, but they’re more than happy to gut Social Security, Medicare, education, and food assistance. All while pointing the finger at everyone else. This is just a mere drop in the bucket. I got these emails today. She addressed the demand for recounts. It seems to me they are saying she needs funds for the down-ballot recounts first. She'll need funds for big recounts too.

If there is funny business, maybe the process of the recounts might be helpful.
