So the bankers have had their income drop by the same amount? The prime minister and other ministers have had their income drop by the same amount. The senior executives of nationalised industries have had their income drop by the same amount. Perhaps there are other who are more greedy.

Some of US have had that since then. It is just a smaller number who have kept pace while the majority have slipped. It’s the greedy lots who have kept pace not the ones who haven’t who are truly greedy.

Digital ID is going to be fun for my 96 year old mother. No mobile phone; driving licence expires next year; no passport BUT needs to handle 2 large trusts and her finances. I bet they won’t send explanations on how this will work IN THE POST.

The online safety bill was nothing to do with children’s safety it was all about government being able to track us whenever we are online.
Once you have biometric legally stored for online safety there’s no way to stop them being used with facial recognition at protests/events.

They’ll never play fair. Always look for the thin edge of the wedge and work from that. We’re too small a community to fight back. On BBC R4 this morning’s pause for thought was about LGBT people pulling together; except it wasn’t it was about homosexuality and queer people pulling together.
