Monitoring cheetahs is imperative for conservation planning, but challenging due to the species' wide range and low detection rates.

Combining detection dog surveys and camera traps reduced the effort required to accurately survey the cheetah population.

Had a great time at the @britishecolsoc.bsky.social conference last week (via a trip to Chester zoo!) and got to present some preliminary results from my first PhD chapter.

So great to meet so many inspiring people and hear about lots of interesting research from around the world!
