Also it’s seriously concerning in general how many people trust comedians over any actual expert. I really appreciate how Bill Burr constantly telling his audience “Don’t listen to me I don’t know what I’m talking about.” It’s a deeply responsible move.

Oh man no doubt. I kind of knew that’s what you meant. He’s also just so DUMB. I was just thinking about a retirement couple on my usual canvassing route where she just suddenly starting voting right wing a couple years back to his dismay. Also about poor Mrs. Fetterman.

A lot of traffic went by and was part of the piece, including horns. With Cage at the piano.

Yeah he does! I strongly feel there’re regular outdoor live iterations of the piece but it’s easy enough to track down this actual Cage set I saw as part of a Nam June Paik exhibit. But we can’t all be professional critics they definitely know best hahaha.

Watch John Cage Play His “Silent” 4′33″ in Harvard Square, Presented by Nam June Paik (1973)
Have you ever played 4'33' in public? Or rather, have you ever not played 4'33' in public? Calling as its score does for no notes at all over its titular duration, John Cage's signature 1952 compositi...

But there’s also footage of him doing it basically on a street corner and explaining how literally all the ambient sounds were the concert. What’s this guy’s deal haha.

It would be really cool if you could find a way to put your rich guy hat on and redistribute some of your rich guy riches to help all the non rich guy Americans hit by this bs federal economic and social agenda. Get your rich guy friends to do same and we’ll be getting somewhere.
