Today's act of hope: I planted a cherry tree.

(It wasn't on the grocery list but followed me home from Costco anyway.)

The wire cage will keep the chicken work crew from digging it up.

We've got a nearly complete bridge on the Pipeline Trail east of Tacoma. Presumably the concrete needs to wait for warmer weather.
