European, Australian and Canadian friends -- is the academic culture in your countries capable of absorbing a mass exodus of U.S. based academics/scientists? Or is the culture of academia such that there isn't a sizeable demand for that many Ph.D.s/academics.

I'd love to see 2024 data on this, but at least from this chart, GOP success has come from significantly widening their appeal to rural voters while Dems haven't seen a corresponding gain in Urban voters.
