Unfortunately Diego couldn't finally come to Sevilla ( I remember he lived in Barcelona) to participate in the talks and debates on the occasion of this itinerant exhibition organized by the CGT. Sorry, Nick, I guess ( not sure) that I have already sent you this photos, but my memory fades ..

We used to stop there an pick some of them for far less religious purposes .. I don't think that the archangel took it badly.
Anyhow, these are from different pespectives, taken many years later ( early on a splendid Christmas morning, 2011)

Iba a añadir un comentario tristemente irónico ( "Para que no se diga que no se invierte lo suficiente en educación e I+D") cuando he recordado que este lugar fue escenario de uno de los más execrables actos de barbarie reaccionario-fascista en 1936 comandada por Yagüe.

The North American Frank G. Tinker ( initially integrated in the "American Patrol" , flying I-15 "Chatos") was the first no-russian, and obviously the first American, piloting a Polikarpov I-16 "Mosca".

Por cierto, a este "pájaro" lo deben haber sometido a cursillos acelerados de pose democrática los de la CIA/Mossad/MI6, que tanto monta (nada nuevo para ellos), esos ojos entornados, suaves modales en la entrevista/propaganda con la envelada periodista de la CNN .. resultan familiares
