I hope they (MS) do something to really differentiate from a traditional-console-format that Sony has and will stay dominant on.

That's the main selling point for Xbox on countries like ours.
The thing is I've seen how I end up looking like a missionary trying to get the Lord's good word out and nothing changes on a person that's used to buy a 1000dls PS5 and a 70dls annual FIFA game. It's mind bottling.

I wanted a xbox360 as a teenager, but not until 2017 I was able to buy an Xbox One S, completely unaware of what to expect. Basically a leap of faith that turned out great.

The main issue is the brand positioning that PlayStation has. It's basically synonymous with gaming. The few people that buy consoles go directly to the most recognizable path.
Xbox plan is to fish "outside" the bowl via Cloud and Gamepass.
