IGN – or any news network for that matter – can’t really have an opinion. Opinion pieces are written by individuals.

I work as a game journalist myself and know that many of my colleagues don‘t share the same opinions as me. I‘d give Far Cry 6 a 3/10 while a co-worker of mine might give it a 9/10.

it‘s like i couldn’t name the single best one. ds3 has the best bosses, bloodborne the best weapons, sekiro the best combat, elden ring the best progression and lies of p has the best weapon system. it‘s refreshing that it‘s rather linear and has some of the best overall soulsborne bosses.
