I'm not sure if the article had "Who Funds Reform?" before I posted the above (not sure it did - but either way, good that it's got it now). Would make sense to also edit the URL to include those words too (and setting up a 301 redirect from the old URL to the new URL too, of course).

Hi @glynhudson.bsky.social this screenshot would seem to suggest you've played around with the @heat-geek.bsky.social Nano Store? Are you (or Heat Geek) able to share the data you previously shared there here? Thanks!

👏 Great news! Keep up the great work!

I've one *tiny* gripe with the website... it seems to be inadvertently normalising and promoting flying with the inclusion of this image 😛

It seems you actually know Bridport is in Dorset but somehow the headline and captions saying it's in Devon *still* got through! 🤦 @rowanmoore.bsky.social @theobserveruk.bsky.social @tortoisemedia.bsky.social

👋 @tortoisemedia.bsky.social Bridport is in Dorset!

👏 @rowanmoore.bsky.social great to see you covering #Bridport #Cohousing - but FYI Bridport is in #Dorset not Devon 😉

My family & I are going on an exciting #interrail trip this summer! 🚄 We'll visit Brussels, Rotterdam, Berlin, Prague & Amsterdam! I just got new passports for my kids, and I'm sad they're not the purple #EU ones. Upset with those who voted for #Brexshit taking away our rights! #Brexit #Rail #Travel

When using the web developer tools I see these errors in the console

That doesn't surprise me, but yes, it does! See e.g. this screenshot

TIL the *whole Internet* has the metadata for Barrington Levy's Original Ragga Muffin, Pt. 1 wrong. Most places have the tracks My Bible and Romantic muddled up. Try to listen to one and you get the other. Romantic is often called Buy Sensi too. Even Musicbrainz has the My Bible track length wrong!

I was in tears as I strolled to the shops the other day, thinking about this image and this paper https://www.nature.com/articles/s41893-023-01132-6 about how current policies leading to around 2.7 °C global warming could leave one-third (22–39%) of people outside the human niche.

I love this short little intro from @bridgetmck.bsky.social about being a Possitopian and her Earth Talk course/ community (see bridgetmckenzie.uk/earth-talk for more on that)

BTW @buffer.com you've not got your character limits for @bsky.app configured exactly right. Here is the exact same text pasted into Buffer and direct on Bluesky - spot the difference? Tip: 18 characters (I guess something to do with how links are counted?)

Wood also gives off LOTS more methane and nitrous oxide than either gas or oil. There are plenty of reasonable reasons why people continue to burn wood. But they shouldn't delude themselves about it somehow magically being better. It isn't. By most measures it's significantly worse.
December 15, 2024 at 11:40 AM
Well seasoned wood is still very polluting. But yeah wet wood is even worse again. Smokeless coal actually better than wood. Briquettes better still. In terms of health damaging PM 2.5 pollution.

Thanks! The neat thing about Ethical Book Search is it automatically searches all of the most ethical suppliers in one go.

Allow me to suggest you add the above link to danarfisher.com/pre-order-bo... 😉

BTW re the discount from the publisher, it seems perhaps it's US only as I just get this:

@isoutar.bsky.social a bunch more #CommunityEnergy peeps for the Starter Pack to be found here too

That's fun and I'm all for free contraceptives, but IMHO:

"Human population growth — along with our reckless overconsumption — is driving the sixth mass extinction crisis."

Is just the wrong way around to frame it.

As per e.g. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
