Well, they basically purged their left wing and put least popular pirate as chairman. Were part of rightwing government and managed to push through basically jack and shit. Also they kinda fucked up digitalization of building proceedings, not good look for digitalization party.

I guess it was Zeman´s pressure + desperation to get into the parliament. But it was super unpopular even with ordinary party members. I´m still hopefull some of the people who left socdem and were purged by pirates will get their shit together. Doesn´t seem to happen though yet.

OG ČSSD is part of Stačilo, but they renamed themselves to Socdem. There is knock off ČSSD using that name, but no one really cares about it (now headed by former head of OG ČSSD Paroubek). OG ČSSD also had pretty huge split over decision to join Stačilo, but I don´t think new party was formed.

Also at the time our turist club loved it so much, we have a copy in Prague. Fortunately as far as I know our exhibition in 1891 was about industry and our folklore.

I had conversation exactly like this with one young socdem years ago. How they have to be racist/islamophobic, because working class people are like that... Our socdems then went from polling 30+% to 2% and their leaders had to beg bolshevik-fascist alliance to join for next elections. (cz)

It even drove my shitty stalinist friends from teenage years to became full on fascists. One of them was atleast living in US at that time. Last thing I remember from group chat was them posting very nasty memes about Thunberg (I guess that´s more of european thing) and BLM.

What i don´t get is how aren´t people, who think LLMs/AI/whatever is sentient, the ones most against it´s mass adoption. Like in their view all the shit everyone else sees is on top of it being basically mass scale slavery.

Well I guess they either want only negative rights to exist (I think that question of if there even are negative rights is disputed, but relatively mainstream, atleast where I´m from) or to enforcement of law to be "service" provided by state and not right of everybody.
