Unfortunately, this game does have the most insufferable, mandatory substory in any RGG game. If you thought Majima Everywhere occurred too frequently, ho boy does he not match up with the frequency of which these guys appear.

I really appreciate that some of the characters on civilian side are less emotionally constipated than the RGG cast. They wear their affection for each other on their sleeves.
