So bluesky decides to become a thing right as I am on the #econjobmarket. And here I thought I would not have to sell myself on 280 characters as Twitter was dead. Sad

I have heard of this "Friendsgiving". Tommorow we remake the concept with a "Vinterbord". Like a classical Swedish Christmas buffet, but with friends and any winterday you can all get together

Life as a PhD student: your paper is finnished, and then you read it again. Then it is not finnished, and needs to be fully restructed

So my friend in Mathematics is defending his PhD thesis today. Let's se if they have the same format as in economics.

The best thing about the seminar series is that you get to meet speakers, pitch your research, and get suggested new literature to check out.
Even better when that literature does not do exactly what you do....

Trouble as an PhD student. Going to a formal meeting and have nothing to wear. Dresscode needed to give us incentives to buy a better wardrobe.

Dagens minskning av inflationen var ingen stor minskning, snarare att den stora ökningen för ett år sedan åkte ur jämförelsen. Vi har dock ingen högt "månadshopp" förrän efter jul. Så förvänta ingen rejäl nedgång innan dess.
