Dear people managing Mark’s Bluesky - please note and relay the immense dissatisfaction from BC. You can’t operate this way.

Also it’s very sad that you keep trying to desperately court Alberta. Bro, she’s not interested! Move on.

I like that “these are generally the types of patterns that appear on a map” is acceptable for a product that’s supposedly ready for market.

What’s the lifespan of the o&g projects? How long do they need to be profitable?

If the bottom falls out of global demand for our very very dirty energy, who’s going to be left holding the bag? (We all know who)

My smug satisfaction about being completely right is almost worth the existential dread.

I think everyone who voted liberal was hoping to avoid a horrible conservative government with a bunch of wack af crypto bullshit pollievre was trying to sell.

We got a horrible conservative government with wack bullshit, but at least we don’t have to see Pollievre on the news quite as much so 👍

Epstein made out a giant novelty cheque “from” trump for the “purchase” of a woman. There’s evidence of that.

The fact that people are debating 3 vs 4 is wild.

Have any of the assessments changed regarding what a 3 degree world will look? IIRC it’s “pretty super F-d”, but not “totally mega F-d”. (Characterization my own)

I think you or someone equally credible should have an open discussion with gates on these and related points.

The narrative around climate change was already backsliding, and I don’t think the mainstream follows climate science or scientists alarm as closely. They only see the surface dialogue.

In not giving that nazi asshole a single additional viewer. A single monthly active user. He can go to hell.

Listen, I don’t want more carbon in the atmosphere. It’s not a political position. The bold move would be to acknowledge this and move us toward the future instead of entrenching us in outdated resource extraction.

Federalist Papers 10 - John Jay: “it is too true, however distasteful it may seem, that a goodly president must dump mega loads of shit on the ignoble and downtrodden rabble”

There’s no rule that says a Bieber can’t play baseball.

They’re stupid AND evil. A horrible combination.

I can see an argument that American hegemony has - on balance - been a positive force. I might agree, I likely won’t entirely.

I do not in any way buy that it’s best for this to continue.

The non-able bodied on Medicaid will surely think “well hey these people don’t deserve it like me” and support changes, only to discover their services are getting cut too.

Total hubris to just ignore the reality of GHGs in the atmosphere.

This isn’t acceptable anymore.
