Yep. The Brazil/Argentina started growing soy beans after Trump’s first Chinese trade war. China read the tea leaves, saw more China/US trade instability, and invested in these other countries’ capacity.

Politicians & public figures should have accounts here (and on Threads and Mastodon, too). When they post stuff only on Twitter it forces people to use Twitter, which is a headache, bad strategy and unethical… it’s not that hard to post in several places

The fascism we are experiencing is an EMERGENCY. It needs to be responded to with lightening speed.
The courts are helping, but lightening speed is not their thing. They weren't designed for that.
So we all need to do more to respond. Get angry. Get organized. Get creative. Get vocal.
