I'm confused. People in the know seemed to think we'd have a finished intranasal vaccine a long time ago. I'd heard numerous candidates were in Phase 2 or 3 trials 1-2 years ago.

That's not the important part. Why are they cheaper? Canada has more programs / precautions in place. For example, US farms can house 1M+ chickens vs. Cdn farms can only have ~25k. The US system is at much greater risk during an outbreak.

Cheaper in good times - very costly during tough times.
