For the love of god, can we please put a camera up in the west stand pointing towards both ends? I’m sick of seeing goals on TV and them zooming in on players all the time.

Let’s see ‘’all the angles’’ with fans included.

Don’t know what people see in him. He’s absolutely pony

That is a perfect example of misrepresenting CPI numbers to suit their agenda.

Technology is deflationary whereas food is inherently inflationary. Remove the inflationary good and bring in the deflationary one to tip the scales.

That's why you don't use CPI as your benchmark.

I actually went and had a look at what the additions/removals were this year...

Addition: A VR headset
Removal: Fresh diced or minced turkey and in-store cafeteria meals

The bottom line is, CPI is a terrible benchmark to assess performance because it’s easily manipulated and doesn’t work over decades and decades.

The better benchmark in my option is the expansion of the money supply. The rate at which the treasury is printing more and more currency into existence.
If you take the S&P500 and factor in the expansion of the US money supply, the US market hasn’t even broken a new ATH since the dot com bubble.

CPI just isn’t a great benchmark. The basket keeps getting changed over time and will change *numerous* times before you retire. When certain prices jump too much, they just swap it out for something else which artificially keeps inflation numbers low.

The reality is, they don’t beat real inflation.

No chance! Where were you when we were shit?! 😉

@digiwilson.bsky.social please see above. I’d respond on X but it’s an absolute cesspit of bots. Please get the club to do this! The south stand is what makes Elland Road so so great.

Please could we have a camera mounted on the gantry facing the South Stand? It would be great to capture from behind play with the entire south stand in view. The broadcast often zooms so tightly on the players that the fans reactions are completely missed and it ruins it.
