And if you go back 150 years it will look even better! I think the argument is more to do with the last 20-25 years and not about going back 75 years to 1950. Of course things are better since then? Only recognizing that the trajectory is reversing

Perhaps they bought them used. I’m ok with people driving what they want, cyber trucks are totally a douche car though 🤣 and I’d never go out of my way to buy a new Tesla. But also remember who owns the supercharger network, so maybe it’s inevitable anyway

Sports betting is one of those things where a very small number of people do the vast majority of the revenue though. It’s not an even distribution across the spectrum

At one point in my life I had to choose between heat and food and chose food. So I spent a December in Ohio with no heat and took ice cold showers. I ended up with mono before the month was out and missed a week of work. HEAP credits got my heat turned back on and saved me.

Btw I would rather support more progressive candidates myself. I just don’t think they can win. Even someone like Bernie was considered extreme by mainstream America and he’s a centrist by most standards imo.

That would be true if we didn’t have an electoral college that granted disproportionate value to rural votes and lower populated states

Even with California offsetting Texas the GOP is still picking up seats in NC and other states through gerrymandering so while its a nice tip o the hat it’s hardly a victory overall in stopping the overall plan
