Are we sure about that? I’ve heard this narrative a lot but I’m not sure that we have evidence that it’s true. Correlation vs causation. Maybe they won because just enough people are finally fed up with Trump’s bullshit?

I thought the person was telling you to check that guy’s profile… but apparently she was telling HIM to check yours? Lol… the far left is a weight around the neck of progressivism… but at least they feel self-righteous in sinking it.

Sure… and yet the Democratic Party does not have sufficient support to have won enough elections to have power in the govt. Maybe it makes you feel better to cite that Dems have won the majority in more elections - but all that really matters is whether the party holds enough seats.

Your quote suggests that he’s not against Trump receiving/demanding this payment - which is counter to what he says.

What about changing our leaning models to teach students how to work with AI as a resource (just like other tech)? I find it strange that in threads like this on BS, this perspective seems totally absent.

My complaint is that people pushback because he’s a billionaire - not based on the substance of his position. Happy to hear an example. But on healthcare issues at least I think he makes a lot of sense - and more importantly, he’s *doing something about it*

I’m not suggesting that Cuban is right by default, or that AI is a net positive. But those are topics that should warrant real discussion and respect for opposing viewpoints.

The biggest example I see of this is responses to @mcuban.bsky.social He’s using his wealth and an entrepreneurial approach to directly improve healthcare, and he engages sincerely here (and even advocates for the platform), but every time he posts he’s attacked just for being wealthy.

I appreciate that the text said it was “AI Generated”, but it doesn’t say what part is AI. This is all real footage with fake audio, and it’s meant to be misleading. This is harmful content.

I can accept what the OP said at face value. Although I imagine that Tapper has a reason for his perspective. My issue is with characterizing him as evil because he doesn’t pass your purity test.Trump is the ultimate narcissist. But let’s not pretend that his cognitive decline is similar to Biden’s

I’m not that familiar with this issue in Japan so can’t comment on the details. I understand that people are pissed at Tapper because his book is critical of Biden and his team’s choice to run again. But he also seems to me to be reporting the truth - even if it’s a truth that people here don’t like

If this site is at the point where people are calling Jake Tapper “evil”, and others are piling on, it’s no better than Twitter. Come on guys. Don’t you see how much it undermines legit criticism of evil people like Trump / Mike Lee / Ted Cruz, who genuinely want to hurt people - to lump Tapper in?
