I think I just realized why I have a fondness for brutalist architecture. It feels like a relic out of time. Like its somehow simultaneously from the distant future and the distant past.

Waiting for paint to dry is just about the worst for an impatient artist like myself. I got layers to add. Come on.

Feeling the urge to get messy with a new painting, but my art space is in the middle of a refresh and everything is packed away or blocked for the moment.

A reminder for artists: If you see injustices in actions of those who lead or rule, you are the ones that have the power to do something. Never forgot the impact your art can and does have.

Here’s a bit of an artist’s introduction: My name is Jordan and my work mainly focuses on stories told through layers. I mainly use these Turing Pattern style lines because they remind me of the winding paths our own lives take.

TikTok’s gone now. Going to be more active now on non Meta platforms now. Hopefully, we can use Bluesky and other platforms to form a proper community of artists.
