January buried me in six feet of snow. With frozen time and frost bite breaking off my brittle hope. A sunless summer killed me even worse than I remember, but I’ll never have a darker day than the 14th of December.

Today is December 1st, which usually means I’m super stoked cause my bday is 11 days away, Christmas is coming. But today I woke up with crazy anxiety, because in 15 days, my mom will be gone for an entire year. I thought I’d be okay, and handle it well. But now I’m not so sure. Grief is weird.
