I live somewhere between “I’m a very sensitive soul” and “I said what tf I said!”

When it's all over and we get to look at this era, it will be the fault of a million terrible decisions by feckless spineless men.

I am neither a constitutional lawyer nor a criminal lawyer. But it seems to me that the Supreme Court's immunity decision allows Trump to skate past criminal contempt hearings. He can say the decision immunized him and his agents.

I trust you. So here's my question. In this, the 50th month of the Trump presidency. It's now obvious that all he will publicly focus on is culture wars. Here on earth, that seems stupid. But half of America, at least, lives on a different planet.

This is a break glass moment. I don't want to hear another word about the price of insulin. It doesn't matter. I don't know how we as a people respond. But voting in the next election cycle isn't enough.

I STAND WITH UKRAINE. I am a patriot and I love my country. I believe in all of the romanticized notions about America. I am disgusted and sickened by my government.

We're not going to acquire Gaza. This is what happens when you show a baby a bright object- he wants it. Dimes to donuts this is an "idea" (that word is doing a lot of work here) that Bibi planted. The world's most easily manipulated human. Our president.

Yesterday was the worst of it. Shameful and dishonorable. But because he's a baby without focus or an attention span, each successive day he will fritter away power on nonsense. He is allergic to accountability. It's our job to enforce accountability. It starts today.

I think it's obvious that some were trying to push him to relapse. I don't think it's inappropriate for a father to account for that. I don't think it's inappropriate for a president to account for it.

Which somehow leads me to Hunter Biden's pardon. On the merits, a pardon is appropriate. Non violent offense, first timer, technical paperwork crime that hurt no one. If his name was Biden Hunter no one would be surprised. But because he's the president's son different rules apply.

Today is an important anniversary, but for me it marks something other than an attempted coup. One year ago today someone close to me overdosed on fentanyl. The hospital said she was in cardiac arrest for at least 15 minutes. Today she is alive, sober and about 98 % recovered.
