Wheels up! The OKC International Airport is flying toward the future and planning expansion projects for the next 5 to 30 years, including more gates and more parking.

Under the Libraries and Learning Centers bond category, west OKC would see a new library, while the Ralph Ellison Library on NE 23rd would get an expansion and the downtown library would have a new exterior facade.

OKC really said to the Thunder, "We like you. We're going to keep you." The council faces 4 agreements today, related to the use of the new arena. PS: There's also a steep price in here if the Thunder tries to leave after the arena is built (to the tune of $1 B)

Latest for The Oklahoman: The church was a satellite branch of a Texas-based church known for preaching against the LGBTQ+ community. I also listened to about three to five hours of the sermons online and it was incredibly difficult to listen to.

((i forgot that i had this account)) Here's my latest for The Oklahoman: Oklahoma City lost a total of 41 part-time employees from publicly funded community centers. Some centers will see a drastic reduction in the number of kids they can serve -- from 100 to 25.

For a Sunday story, I worked on a project with a colleague the Oklahoma Survivors Act. The new law allows victims of domestic violence to apply for a lesser sentence if it can be determined the defendant was a victim of domestic violence at the time of the offense.
