Today I'm grateful for the wonderful old couple who didn't accept my cheery, "no no, its fine I've got this", and just started helping put wood in the barrow until I had it all in my own drive.

Today I am grateful for a good shower. Ive been playing with hot water settings and not getting it right. Today I've overshot, but does mean I had an actually hot shower rather than moderately tepid, or baltic.

Today im grateful for cooking and baking.
Fed up with the local Chinese being a bit pants, made a ton of pork and turkey balls for sweet and sour.
Then when freezer roulette turned out to be apple stew not savoury stew, made a cake.
Other than the minor fire, not the worst thing I've ever made.
