Hey, I’m Jordan :)

I help you figure out AI so you can decide whether it’s worth your time.

Not just updating you on the latest tools—but giving you a framework to actually use them in a way that fits your life.

AI that works for you, not the other way around.

Because you can write that email yourself.

And either way, you’re still responsible for what happens once you send it.

I’m not saying you should never use another AI tool ever again.

I am saying that you should try to learn how to do the thing yourself before reaching for an AI tool to do it for you.

(or find someone who can tell you whether that AI tool is even doing it right)

Also, how would you even know whether that ChatGPT-generated rent negotiation email is good in the first place?

It’s not like you’ve seen/written one before, or looked into how other people have successfully approached this.

It’s easy to fall into the habit of reaching for AI every time you encounter a new obstacle, an uncomfortable situation, or something you just don’t really want to do yourself.

No, let’s be real - it’s probably because you don’t trust yourself to navigate that situation or overcome that obstacle.

I can look up market pricing for apartments like mine.

I have friends who have tried to negotiate their rent before, so I can text them to see what they did.

And I can write an email.

Don’t get me wrong, AI tools like ChatGPT can be really helpful.

I use Claude on a near-daily basis, among other AI tools.

And I did initially plan to use ChatGPT to help me negotiate my rent, because I’ve never done that before.

But…

“wait, so how did you use ChatGPT?”

I didn’t. :)
