It’s not just about what we build, it’s about how we LEAD. In tech and venture capital, we’re seeing the true colors of people in power, and too often, their interests don’t align with the people they serve. The impact is extractive, shortsighted, and harmful.

I took this photo in 2017, on my way to a software dev class, because I wanted to manifest my ideas—to turn new business models into reality and help others do the same. Back then, it felt like gaining skills was the key to empowerment. Now, I know it’s bigger than that.
