“nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” - it says “any person within its jurisdiction”. No one asked for your pity, just that you obey the Constitution.

I was outraged as well by the idea of “banning masks”. Today, I realized this only applies to people at protests/demonstrations who are attempting to hide their identities. Still bad, still a freedom issue, but it’s not AS BAD as banning surgical masks in general for health/protection. Amiwrong?

You make a cogent argument, but, you are not seeing the reality of what MAGA’s prioritize. You can’t convince them that studying communities which are highly prone to suicide is a good thing because they don’t care about people who commit suicide. They lack empathy for anyone and everyone.
