Metallica playing a mile and half away and on the other side of a ridge = free backyard concert. Sort of. I suspect we'll be able to hear Enter Sandman from inside the house.

Today was a perfect weather day. I’ll have to come back in a week when all the lilly pads are in bloom.

Today’s adventure: calibrating my laser level…that wasn’t means to be user-calibrated.

Norway is now officially on my calendar.

No, I will not elaborate.

I don’t know who they put on the design team for this coffee maker, but I would like them to be in charge of every consumer item from now on.

I wonder if the Romans hummed their own theme music.

I take pictures of interesting doors, like this one. I just found out that the church it is connected to is for sale.

At my local thrift store.

You’ll find me crying in a corner singing “when she loved me” for the rest of the day.

I 3D printed part of an adapter for my iPhone to stabilize a monocular. Now I can get close ups of visitors.

Funny you mention it. I don't subscribe* to streaming media services, either. I have around 200GB of music I own in hard-copy form and I buy albums I like from Bandcamp these days. It's all in the cloud, which I pay for, or on my plex server (for which I have a perpetual license).

FWIW, this is as screen shot looking west at the moon (in Virginia USA). The black circle is the moon, above and to the right is mars. The blue is Neptune, red/brown in front is mercury, and (obv) Saturn below. The app is called SkyView ($3/£3?; a Lite vers is free) www.space.com/skyview-review

3D printing question: What are you using for clean up of the chaff around and in your printers? A bench brush doesn’t really get all the bits out of the corners. Is there a good but small vacuum out there you can recommend?
