Then will pop up months and years later with the “2nd round pick” pontificating about how it was supposed to be you. If you don’t break up with that man and let him go find someone who actually wants to be with him 💀💀💀 it’s truly heinous out here.

That’s so interesting my parents are a similar age but from different states and there’s definitely says Black
January 29, 2026 at 2:17 AM
If you don’t mind sharing how old are your parents and what state were they born in????

Yeah i personally never wanted to be super tall. A high center of gravity would not do me any favors 💀💀

I personally found myself surprised by this when the tyla situation happened and grown black folks I was in a reading group with admitted they thought “negro” and “colored” wee only used in works of fiction 😭😭😭
January 28, 2026 at 3:35 PM
Got it. Makes sense. Personally it just seemed like since we’re correcting let’s also be exact while we’re at it but i definitely see your perspective.
January 28, 2026 at 3:28 PM
Okay I am genuinely curious as to where that delineation is happening is your thought process but completely understand if you don’t want to expound any further 😊😊
January 28, 2026 at 3:20 PM
You’re absolutely right. So to be clear semantics aside is there a difference between the correcting of a week to a month vs the correcting of the nomenclature in how your original post was framed???
January 28, 2026 at 3:12 PM
You literally questioned if the op knew why it went from a week to a month. If that’s not basically a history exam then what is 😂😂😂😂
January 28, 2026 at 3:06 PM
Was your initial quote not about the facts of the history? The semantics can be argued. A wasn’t trying to be snarky if that’s how the hair splitting was received so my bad. My point to be clear is that language around how black folks have identified is also deeply tied to the history of the month
