Step 1: slab out some clay.
Step 2: cut into general shape of a mit (or foot).
Step 3: cut in fingers (or toes).
Step 4: add knuckles, nails, and other details.

Ah, thank you! I am very happy with how it turned out. It can be tricky to walk that line where something is heavily stylized, but still representative and recognizable.
And that it’s also cute and in one piece! Those sacrifices I’ve been making to the kiln god must be working.
