Vince Zampella was the absolute best to ever do it. Literally. His impact across publishers, studios, franchises and genres was unmatched. Commercially and creatively he was an absolute juggernaut. A tremendous loss for this industry, and to those who were close to him. Rest in peace.

Just put up Dwarf Fortress 53.07. Dwarves now have happy thoughts when you manage to defeat a siege. Also, we have hundreds of new animal portraits! And lots of other changes, listed here www.bay12games.com/dwarves/inde...

I also think most people now think plastics leeching endocrine disruptors (like BPA) into food is the same as “microplastics” and I’m not sure that’s a fixable problem.

We don’t currently know whether microplastics have an important impact on health and that is very worthy of investigation but, I have to say, this the current discourse has many hallmarks of a health panic and I am not currently worrying about it.

I'm only just realizing that how Caves Of Qud tells its story is some beautiful cross between Dark Souls, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Dwarf Fortress, and that completely explains why I'm so down for it.
