A neonatologist and pediatrician who also podcasts (aap.org/podcast). I love babies and think the newborn period is fun - doesn’t everyone?
Combating racism is an iterative process that can make everyone healthier. We have to listen to each other and do this together.

As prematurity awareness month comes to an end I wanted to share this video. I filmed it while pregnant. Being pregnant and a neonatologist is hard. I am so fortunate my babies were born at terms. My job is a joy and a heartache. My babies teach me so much about life.

I’m convinced the “do audiobooks count as reading?” argument all derives from those mid-90s summer reading pizza challenges.

Folks - we’re all in our 30s and 40s now. It’s no longer a competition.

Go buy your favorite pie with your adult money and let people enjoy books however they want.

Yesterday a mom outside the school when I dropped off my daughter said my shoe was untied. I sighed and looked at it. Then without skipping a beat my partner kneeled down and tied it for me. Find someone that will tie your shoelaces for you so you won’t trip…then love them forever.

This was one of my favorite podcast interviews. It required I rewatch Luca during the work day to truly understand the source material 👀 👁️ 🧜‍♀️
