I’ve been holding my tongue about Johnny Morton’s play calling so far, but it has been abysmal. He is calling the exact same play on 87% of first downs. He doesn’t seem to make adjustments at any point during the game. The line is weak on the left side, but he keeps running Gibbs to that side. Etc

Goff is getting a lot of criticism for the loss. I’m not saying he’s blameless by any means, but at some point, 31 points needs to be enough. The defensive injuries were bound to catch up with the team. We saw it against Buffalo, and saw it again last night. No answer to a mobile quarterback.

The doomer cohort of the Lions fan base really need to get some perspective on the Buffalo loss. They lost to arguably the best team in the AFC by one possession. They are already in the playoffs, and will soon start getting pieces back on defense.
