"Dark/abusive/transgressive themes in fiction cause real abuse" and "video games cause violence" are absolutely cut from the same Conservative pro-censorship cloth. It's fine not to like either, but trying to litigate the existence of the latter is just as stupid as the former.

In my experience every weirdo creep I and my friends ever encountered in ff have been miqos/femras clearly piloted by straight men. They’re just happy they found a scapegoat imo, classic misdirection
