In honor of Max achieving his 3rd dan last weekend, today we held a special "throwing event" (heittäjäiset) with four eager nages and one brave uke. The whole thing lasted about as long as a Saturday graduation, roughly half an hour, but surprisingly, it seemed like warm-up! 😲
