Basically, I feel my point still has some level of validity because of this reasoning. Hopefully I didn't come off as rude, because I genuinely hold a lot of respect for you, this game, and everyone who works on it. And the last thing I want to do is insult you all. Y'all work HARD.

The curse that comes when only three out of the twenty-something characters currently in the game are girls. The yuri pool is incredibly limited.

Phighting fans have constructed entire characters in their head based off these one-dimensional pieces of dialogue and are now upset that their view is being overwritten with the ACTUAL good shit. They're talking before thinking.

BRUH You guys are doing AMAZINGLY and I'm so here for it. Like YEAH on some level I'm nervous. But I'm equally (if not, more) excited to see the rewrite!!! You guys put so much love and attention to detail in the game and I can't wait to see what comes of it.
