Exactly. Pki is cryptographic keys that prove you are the named identity (noone else has access to them). Biometric is usually facial recognition on your device these days. Although on its own thats usually not enough - as its probabalistic.

Its pki at the backend with bio at the front (depending on the connectid service you are using) Way more secure than other old school means of authentication. And the point being if you authenticate securely you dont have to keep handing over private info (thats so commonly hacked).

This is well overdue. The tech has been ready for a long time. The understanding as to why its needed has been lacking.
