6. Butter by Asano Yuzuki (5⭐️)

It is simply fantastic, the writing is excellent, the descriptions of the food and the scenery are so rich and it doesn’t feel like you’re reading about the characters it truly feels like you ARE in their universe, living your days alongside them. So worth the hype

5. The Show Woman by Emma Cowing (3,5 ⭐️)

This was a fun read and a really interesting period in time and point of view from women of travelling fairs and circus. I enjoyed it!

4. An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green (4,5 ⭐️)

Wow I devoured this book in like a week which hasn’t happened in a Long Time! Super interesting sci-fi book with a very real insight into rise to fame and twitter politics. Already checked out the sequel 👀

3. Bat Eater by Kylie Lee Baker (4 ⭐️)

I never pick up ghost stories but this cover was just *chefs kiss* and the story was just aaaamazing. I got action, I got blood, I got mistery, I got NYPD corruption, I got friends being chased by ghosts. A bit disappointed with the ending but still so good

2. Tunnelling to the centre of the earth by Kevin Wilson (4,5 ⭐️)

Love me a short story collection. Picked up on sale for £3 and one of the best reads in a while. Weird, wonderful, whimsy. Just yes.

1. Yellowface by R.F. Kuang (4 ⭐️)

I am *obsessed* with Babel by R.F.Kuang so I excited to read this! I thought it was entertaining, but ngl I was expecting waaay more action (a lot of it is emails and publishing back and forth) good read tho :)
