New #wolfhall episode... Lovely. Mark Rylance is 100% in it again. It's as beautiful as the first season, where you could randomly pause it and you'd have a piece of art. A little tepid on some of the acting from others, and the soundtrack is a little full...but should be excellent.

Outta curiosity why is the Supreme Court a set of 9 elites and not a jury of peers of the populace? A judge has never been a peer of the people; more of a leader. How do these 9 people reflect the majority when they ostensibly make 5x the salary of us, minus "perks" that add much much more...

I get why the wide majority of dems aren't saying or doing anything. Imagine losing to a guy who did the worst rallies I've ever seen. He literally shit his pants in public. He just spent one rally badly dancing. Imagine losing to that. America chose that and we expect them to get up and at 'em?

A friend suggested I listen to the band Agoraphobic Nosebleed, specifically the album Frozen Corpse Stuffed with Dope. This was a watershed moment in my life. The combination of nouns and adjectives really boggles the mind in a wonderful way.

The most powerful artistic drive I currently have is to illustrate a scene from a tiktok about a pair of spaceship chefs. Thr human cuts himself and the non-human is terrified he'll die because they don't know humans can heal wounds.
