So important that those health checks happen and the data on GP Learning Disability Registers is used in health systems throughout the country to plan care to reduce health inequalities and people dying unnecessarily early.

Huge thanks to the Secretary of State for sending a joint letter with someone with a learning disability on such an important topic.

The letter stresses the importance of people with a learning disability being on their GP's #LearningDisabilityRegister and getting #AnnualHealthChecks to reduce the health inequality experienced by people with a learning disability who die 19.5 years younger than the general population.
