My fingers are quite short which makes shuttle tatting extremely difficult. My current WIP doesn't have any split rings so I don't have to worry about it quite yet!

Oh, fantastic! Split ring work is my next goal in needle tatting, haven't tried it yet though.

Oh, they're gorgeous! I tried shuttle tatting a few years ago but never got very far with it as I've got very short fingers! Needle tatting has been a revelation though! 😁
