Hampshire born and bred, but a Man of Kent since 1997. Prog rock fan, keyboard player and pub-quizzer.
I'm looking forward to this new version of NDV's tribute to the Lamb. I'm sure it will cause much heated debate amongst Genesis fans, but having his original recording from 2008, I'm definitely a fan; the arrangement for the Hairless Heart and Counting Out Time section is a highlight for me.

A 2024 release that seems to have slipped under the radar is Patrick Leonard's "It All Comes Down to Mood". Best known for his work with Madonna in the late 80s, he cites Genesis, Floyd and Gentle Giant as huge influences growing up. This album is a 16-song feast of sublime pop/prog splendour.

I had a loose C# key on my Yamaha YC61 - still playable, but broken off the frame. No joy searching in the UK for a replacement set, and it was going to cost £50 including p&p from the US. Saw a set on ebay for the PSR SX-700 that looked identical and took a punt at £13. Can confirm they are!

Late last year I had the pleasure of seeing Adam Kromelow, AKA The Genesis Piano Project, perform solo at The 1865 in Southampton. He mentioned at the time that he was planning a show with full orchestra in his native Canada this summer, some highlights of which are now up. youtu.be/RtaG5czHG6M?...

Always thought Big Big Train had sewn up the railway/brass band combo, so it was a pleasure to support 17th Tonbridge Scout and Guide Band at the Isle of Wight Steam Fair today. Sneaky visit to the wonderful Osborne House beforehand.

Back from my first ever #Cropredy festival. Loved every minute of it - loads of acts that I wouldn't normally listen to but delivered enthralling, passionate performances. Clearly not everyone was there for the prog, so we were able to get on the barrier for both Rick Wakeman and Big Big Train

Totally fed up with what Mu$k has turned Twitter into - so coming here to hopefully get a fresh restart. Bluesky clearly needs a lot more content, so I will do my best to post a bit more here. I'm off to the #Cropredy festival this weekend - not been before, but couldn't miss out on #BigBigTrain.
