I'm finding myself dragged to the latter. Trump has revealed what's in his heart and does not have the desire to do otherwise. He's taking yesterday as an assault. We should expect a response.

Trump has sufficient hubris to say out loud the part he should be quiet about. He's evil. He's bragging about it. I'm no expert, but this has to be a first. Like Trump, others have been out front about their intent. This will only get worse.

This speaks for itself. Trump a sociopath. But he's also way past that. He's objectively evil. Dead heart. We are at an existential crossroads in the US. We must face that fact. We need to accept the fight we face no matter what the consequences are.

I agree. I think he's looking for a path to not leave office. Violence isn't out of the question. I hope you're wrong about their trying to invoke violence, but the signs are clearly there.
