David Hockney's work is a true inspiration to me and at 86 he continues to work which is awe inspiring. He keeps fit by spending half an hour in a swimming pool each morning, and can stand for six hours at the easel.

My new pencil is of Ian McShane. Well known best for his Lovejoy series and Deadwood which he won a Golden Globe for. He was quietly terrifying in Sexy Beast as Teddy Bass. I met him when we flying to London on the same plane many years ago. He was such a nice guy and we had a great chat.
