Gosh, me too. I see some attractive , neat as a pin, tasteful homes that are beautifully coordinated in tones of grey and they would still give me the heebie-jeebies to live in. I couldn’t be arsed with not having dogs on the sofa so not being prissy about paw prints is a plus

Thanks hen . I particularly enjoyed, in these photos, the fact that everything else is in restrained shades of grey and beige , and my sofa looks like the chic, if drunk, great aunt at a serious family event

thank you ,and exactly! It's 'Rockbird' by GP&J Baker and dates from 1912. Our house is 18th C but with an Arts and Crafts extension, and lots of the architecture on our lane is Arts and Crafts so this fabric that I love just works so well
