I supposed the reason for this is that left wing political solutions aim at the "root" of the problem, no? So it's kinda correct to state that the right are not radical, as someone else here said, they are "reactionary".

At a recent anti-genocide rally there was a family walking past the cathedral and a child asked the adult "what's that?" And the adult scoffed "just some tree huggers". I felt sorry for that child!
